Who processes the data

The data controller is the owner of the AvtoNote service. You can reach us at the address listed in the Contacts section of the website.

What we store

Only what is needed to keep records for your car:

• Phone number — confirmed at sign-in and used to identify the owner.
• Name, if you provided one.
• Car details: name, make, model, year, plate, VIN, mileage.
• Records: fuel-ups, expenses, completed work, documents and their expiry dates.
• Attachments: photos of receipts and documents you added yourself.
• Technical data: installation identifier and synchronisation timestamps.

What we do not collect

• Location, contacts, call history or the contents of other apps.
• Advertising identifiers: the app has no ads.
• Payment card details: the app is free and does not accept payments.

Why the data is needed

To keep records for your car, calculate fuel consumption and cost per kilometre, remind you about service and document deadlines, and synchronise records between your devices.

The legal basis is your consent, given when you sign in, and performance of the agreement on using the service.

Who can see your records

You and the members of the workspace you invited. You grant and revoke access yourself.

If you granted access to a repair shop, it sees the mileage and the service history of the car. Expense amounts, fuel-ups, your other cars and personal notes are not shared with it. Access can be revoked at any moment in the app.

We do not sell data and do not share it with advertising networks. Disclosure is possible only where the law requires it.

Where and how long data is stored

Records are stored on your device and on a server in Russia. Attachments are kept in separate storage and served through a temporary link only to those who have access to the record. Data is transferred over a secure connection.

Data is kept while you use the app. Deleted records remain as a deletion marker for up to 90 days — this is needed so that the deletion reaches your other devices — and are then erased permanently.

Your rights

You may:

• Obtain a copy of your data.
• Correct inaccurate data — directly in the app.
• Delete a single record, a car, or the whole account.
• Withdraw consent and revoke access granted to other members or to a repair shop.

How to delete your data

A single record or a car can be deleted in the app. To delete the whole account together with every record and attachment, write to us from the phone number used at sign-in, or from the app — the “More” section.

We answer such requests within 30 days.

The website

The website keeps its own visit statistics: we count page opens and visits. To tell a new visit from a continuation the website sets a session cookie — it disappears as soon as you close the browser, and it cannot identify you between visits. There is no name, phone number or address in the statistics; the data stays with us and is not passed to third parties, and there are no third-party counters on the website. The repair shop request form transmits only the data you entered into it and is used to contact you.

Children

The service is not intended for children under 14 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

If the policy changes, a new version will appear on this page with a new date. We will announce significant changes in the app.
